Daily Dish:

Successes/Stresses: Three straight days of yoga and my body is sore, I am wondering if I should keep my commitment to daily activity but alternate yoga with cardio to give my muscles rest days. Tough decision right now because I started with a 30 day yoga challenge and I don't want to shift that commitment, but yet I want to do what's best for my body. Going to proceed with caution the rest of the week and see how it goes. The personal trainer in me thinks strength train every other day, so alternate in cardio. The certified yoga instructor in me says yoga every damn day! I want to throw in a couple restorative classes, but my studio doesn't offer them regularly throughout the week. Any yogis out there have suggestions?! black prom dresses 2019

Sleep: Breakthrough! Slept like a baby through half the night, woke up once, and fell right back to sleep. Major improvement!! Avoiding screens before bed made a big difference.

Hydration: 2+ liters of lemon water/water/green juice/herbal tea.

Exercise: 30 minute power walk in Central Park and one hour Vinyasa yoga class.

B-orgain vegan protein shake

S-avocado toast

L-Black beans, Spanish rice and fresh pico de gallo (tomatoes, cilantro, onions and lime juice-Lola's Mexican Restaurant)

S-organic green apple slices and almond butter

D-vegan potato leek soup (Whole Foods), mushroom/radish/green bean/red leaf lettuce salad with Annie shiitake Sesame dressing... and a bite of my husbands chicken...still saying goodbye to animal protein before my vegan meal delivery system arrives this week
